Our product Line:
HT‑4 Test Set – Our flagship model. Tests high‑ and low‑impedance helicopter helmets and headsets with U‑174/U plugs, as well as high‑impedance fixed‑wing headsets using Lemo, XLR‑5, or twin‑plug connectors. It also supplies voltage for ANR headsets and measures current consumption.
HT‑4 — SPL‑TEST Function
The HT‑4 includes a dedicated SPL‑TEST mode, designed to evaluate microphone sensitivity by measuring its response to controlled sound‑pressure levels. In this mode, the HT‑4 uses its VU meter to display the microphone’s output level, allowing precise comparison between microphones of the same type. This function is essential for determining whether a microphone is operating within its expected sensitivity range or has degraded due to age, capsule damage, wiring issues, or environmental wear.
This capability makes the HT‑4 stand out in its category: it is the only device that performs this type of direct and comparative microphone sensitivity test.
In addition to SPL‑TEST, the HT‑4 provides:
The HT‑4 operates from an external AC power adapter (90–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz) and is available with USA, UK, Canadian, or EU plugs.
HT‑3 H/L
A cost‑effective unit for fast testing of high‑ and low‑impedance helicopter helmets, aviation headsets, extension cables, and microphone sensitivity.
HT‑3
Dedicated exclusively to high‑impedance testing for ground support, mechanics, pushback operations, and fixed‑wing headsets.
HT‑2 H/L & HT‑2
Compact, affordable “go/no‑go” testers designed for quick troubleshooting and fault isolation in wired or wireless helicopter and ground crew configurations.
Helmet Testers
Custom‑built low‑impedance testers for military and civilian flight helmets, including mic amplifiers, earphones, and NV microphone lights.
